Duke Advisory Group launched on December 14th, 2018. Our pursuit began over 15 months ago to deliver on a mission to provide services to help optimize the legal services community. A mission derived from a career of experience and knowledge working with legal service providers, law firms and corporate legal departments to solve their problems and overcome their challenges.
Duke Advisory Group’s portfolio of services is designed to help our clients deliver more value to their clients by enhancing their business strategies, developing repeatable processes across the EDRM, and procuring technology and services that add more differentiation and ROI to their offerings.
This past year we delivered on every segment across our portfolio:
Litigation Readiness - One of the biggest challenges for many law firms and corporations is providing a standard approach to managing e-discovery. Our Litigation Readiness Assessment provides the client with a gap analysis between their current state of readiness and the more advanced stages of the Litigation Readiness Maturity Model. Recommendations are made on how they can improve areas to bridge these gaps and establish a consistent and repeatable process for responding to discovery requests.
RFI/RFP Management – Helping our clients reduce their cost of e-discovery ranging from 50% to 80% cost savings, while establishing a standardized approach to Discovery Management.
Marketplace Intelligence – Our Market Insight Assessments provided key data on the cost of e-discovery services in the industry. These assessments provide our clients visibility to the market in terms of costs, capacity, capability across service providers and highlight areas in the market that can be exploited to drive more client value and differentiation.
E-discovery Process Management – Through our client engagements we developed a comprehensive that establishes a standardized approach in managing e-discovery processes. The E-discovery Playbook includes all necessary forms and checklists used to manage processes across EDRM. Our library host nearly 50 forms and checklists and explanations of their use.
Recruiting – We place several high value candidates across sales, project management and data science.
Relativity and Rel1 Consulting – We assisted with clients to evaluate their use of Relativity to create a business case and approach for migrating to R1. We have also provided strategies to clients for negotiating licensing terms with Relativity for these migrations.
Expanded partnerships with key technology and service providers to support our clients’ needs.
Our mission for 2020 is continue to build on our core services, provide new services as requested, and expand our mission to make e-discovery services available and more affordable to every client in need.
